Filing an Emergency Cashless Claim (Plum Lite)

Generally, an emergency hospitalization is needed when the insured meets with an unfortunate accident or suffers from an illness that needs immediate hospitalization.

In case of filing an insurance claim in case of emergency hospitalization, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your Plum dashboard.

2. Click on the Use my Insurance button.

3. Choose between a Whatsapp-based flow or a web-based flow for filing your insurance claims.

4. Choose the type of insurance you want to avail.

5. Choose the patient you want to avail the insurance benefit for.

6. You will see the health card on the next screen. Show this health card to the TPA (third-party administrator)/insurance desk at the hospital.

7. Contact us on our emergency hotline (1800 30 911 911) for assistance with the claim process.

1. Log in to your Plum dashboard.

2. Click on the ‘view details’ tab on your health insurance card.

3. Click on the download health card option to download your health card

4. Click on the search network hospital option and find the right hospital for a cashless treatment.

5. At the hospital, find the insurance desk and show them your downloaded health card.

6. Contact us on our emergency hotline (1800 30 911 911) for assistance with the claim process.

7. You should get cashless approval within 3-4 hours.

The final approval (or rejection) comes in from the insurer along with the discharge summary. Once again, we recommend you go through the fine print of all deductions and seek all clarifications with the help of the Plum Care team.
