  • Log in to your Plum dashboard

  • Click on your health insurance card

  • Scroll down to the 'What's covered?/What's not covered?' section

For more, here's a breakdown of what is covered by your policy:

  • Hospitalization expenses: Most Hospitalization expenses up to the sum insured if hospitalized for 24 hours or more

  • Pre & post hospitalization expenses: Expenses incurred 30 days before and 60 after hospitalization

  • Room rent limits: Normal rooms that cost up to 2% of Sum Insured and ICU rooms that cost up to 4% of the sum insured per day

  • Waiting periods: 0 days on Injuries & accidents, 1 yr on named ailments (see more), 4 yrs on pre-existing diseases, and 30 days on all other treatments

  • Daycare treatments: Several procedures or treatments that do not require 24 hours of hospitalization.

  • Pre-existing diseases: All pre-existing diseases after a waiting period of 4 years of continuous cover

  • Ambulance charges: Ambulance charges limited to ₹1,000 per hospitalization

And here's a breakdown of what is not covered by your Plum Lite policy:

  • Maternity: Hospitalization expenses due to maternity

  • Home healthcare: Treatments taken at home

  • Foreign treatments: Treatments taken outside India

  • Ayurvedic treatments

  • Infertility: Infertility treatments such as IVF and surrogacy

  • Lasik surgery

  • Mental Illness: Treatment of mental illness

  • OPD: Routine doctor visits not including hospitalization and daycare.

Note:

  • Plum Lite has a minimum age restriction of 90 days and a maximum age restriction of 60 yrs.

  • Plum Lite is currently applicable only to Employee only OR Employee + Spouse + Child policy types. Parental coverage is not available on Plum Lite.
